In 1976, Stag's Leap Wine Cellars won the Cabernet Sauvignon category in a blind tasting staged by Steven Spurrier, an English wine merchant in Paris, among French wine experts. This famous Judgment of Paris tasting demonstrated the quality and excellence of American wines, and the results are on display in the winery's visitor center.

The ARTEMIS Cabernet Sauvignon is a medium to full-bodied red wine with a smooth mouthfeel and flavors of berry and dark chocolate. This red wine offers intriguing aromas of olive, espresso, black licorice, and red fruit, and has an alcohol content of 14.8% by volume from California's Napa Valley.
